프랑스, 북한 탄도미사일 발사 규탄

프랑스 정부가 북한의 지난 24일 탄도미사일 발사를 규탄하는 성명을 발표했습니다.

프랑스 외교부는 성명에서 “한 달 새 일곱 번째 이어지는 북한의 추가 탄도미사일 발사에 우려하고 있으며, 관련 정보를 주시하고 있다”고 밝혔습니다.

이어 지역안보를 해치고 유엔 안보리 결의를 위반하는 북한의 거듭된 발사를 규탄한다고 강조했습니다.

[프랑스 외교부 규탄 성명] “We took note, with concern, of information concerning further ballistic missile launches by North Korea on Saturday, August 24. This is the seventh round of launches in a month. France reaffirms its condemnation of these repeated launches, which undermine regional security and violate the UN Security Council resolutions.”

프랑스 외교부는 또 북한에 대해 안보리 결의 준수와 미국과의 비핵화 협상 재개, 대량살상무기 프로그램의 완전하고 검증 가능하며 되돌릴 수 없는 폐기를 보장하는 절차에 신속하게 임할 것을 촉구했습니다.

그러면서, 이같은 목표가 달성될 때까지 안보리 제재를 계속 유지할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.

[프랑스 외교부 규탄 성명] “France calls on North Korea to comply with the Security Council resolutions, to resume dialogue with the United States on denuclearization as soon as possible and to swiftly engage in a process to ensure the complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantlement of its weapons of mass destruction programs. Until this goal has been achieved, the UN Security Council sanctions will remain in effect.”

프랑스 외교부는 북한을 팔레스타인, 시리아, 우크라이나, 사하라 이남 아프리카와 더불어 ‘5대 국제 위기’의 하나로 지정하고 꾸준히 문제를 제기하고 있습니다.
